Reading The Invisible Man

I borrowed The Invisible Man by HG Wells from my local Library. 11 weeks in, I’m only 1/3 through the book. It’s a harder read than Of Mice And Men by Steinbeck, which I read in less than 2 weeks.

Around 1991, I saw the Play, The Invisible Man, at a theatre in Stratford East London, loosely based on this book. I was on a part-time GCSE course in English Literature and our group arranged going to see the Play for an evening out. The Play actually had really good special effects for that time.

I have been reading bits of other books on my Kindle, mostly Buddhism books at the moment.

There are some great classic books out there. I will try and finish The Invisible Man before it’s returned to the Library. Do support your local Library!!!
